Aug 6, Saturday, Globe Auditorium Maybank Performaing Arts Theater, the bad weather will not hinder all theater patrons to watch the latest re-staging of "Joseph the Dreamer" (JTD). Headed by Pure Energy, Gary V., the 2022 rendition of JTD is directed by the eldest son of Gary V. and Angeli Pangilinan, Paolo Valenciano. From start to finish, viewers were presented with a feast of brilliant songs, imaginative choreography and colourful costumes. There is absolutely something for somebody to appreciate, clap and stand up to! An age-old, classic tale have been really reinvigorated by Director Paolo Valenciano and associate director Nelsito Gomez. JTD also features updated musical arrangements by musical director Myke Solomon. JTD runs from Jul 15 - Aug 7, 2022.

Also notable cast members who performed during Saturday main show were Sam Concepcion (main role as Joseph), Gary Valenciano (Father Jacob), Carla Guevara-Laforteza (Wife Racheel), Mateo Jimenez (Benjamin), Dan Delgado (Isaachar) and Carlo Orosa (Pharaoh / Auctioneer).

What is worth sharing after watching "Joseph the Dreamer" for more than two hours is how blessed and anointed I felt along with the rest of the 500 viewers who flocked the auditorium of Maybank Performing Arts Theater. Hours have already passed after the show and I can still feel the presence of our good Lord everywhere! That for me is the truest sense of being touched by the Spirit. And did I also mention that I cried an awful times during the scene when Jacob admitted to his family that he made a mistake by only focusing on his own emotions? Yup! Add to that when the 12 brother reunited and forgave each other and prove that family ties is so strong it can battle anything!
Overall, congratulations to the entire cast and production of "Joseph the Dreamer" show! The efforts of the entire production paid off and the play is a big success! Cheers to life with the Lord and really never look down :)

On a side note, Gary V., together with Audie Gemora are celebrating their respective birthdays last Aug 6. A simple birthday celebration was held at the function room of Maybank (see some photos below).
