888 FILMS INTERNATIONAL BRINGS "TALK TO ME" TO PHILIPPINE CINEMAS

888 Films International, a major film distribution company in the Philippines, is thrilled to announce the Philippine premiere of the critically acclaimed Australian supernatural horror flick, Talk to Me. The film will be shown in theaters across the country starting July 26, 2023.

Talk to Me is a chilling tale helmed by the Philippou brothers, Danny and Michael, in their feature directorial debut. It’s based on a concept by Daley Pearson, while Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman wrote the screenplay. Talk to Me stars Alexandra Jensen, Alexandria Steffensen, Chris Alosio, Joe Bird, Marcus Johnson, Miranda Otto, Otis Dhanji, Sophie Wilde, and Zoe Terakes.

The story revolves around a group of friends who discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand. Their thrill-seeking experiment quickly spirals into a terrifying ordeal when one of them goes too far, unleashing sinister and supernatural forces.

Talk to Me
Talk to Me has been praised by critics and fans alike for its tightly woven narrative, dry wit, and raw, gritty cinematography. The film received positive reviews, a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and a score of 72 out of 100 on Metacritic. It has even been described as one of the most exciting horror movies to emerge from Australia in recent years.

The film had its preview screening at the 2022 Adelaide Film Festival and its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. It is scheduled for theatrical release in Australia on July 27, 2023.

Young actor Ahn Ji-ho from Netflix’s zombie series All of Us Are Dead starred in it. It's a heartwarming and entertaining film that was well-received by Filipino audiences.
