TikTalks Season 2 Promises Bolder Topics

You read it right! The popular talk show being aired on TV5, "TikTalks", is up for season 2 that promises a bolder, feistier and no-holds-barred topics the show is known for. Still headed by premier broadcast journalist, Korina Sanchez, the show is back with all original cast: Alex Calleja, G3 San Diego, Kakai Bautista and Pat-P Daza.

During an intimate media launch held Aug 5, Relish Restaurant, the show complete cast happily announced to the media that "TikTalks' will have more production value unlike season 1 wherein it is more of banter-like approach from the casts.

"TikTalks" Casts During the Intimate Media Conference

"When we came together (for TikTalks), parang banter-banter lang. Ngayon, we put a little more production", shared by Sanchez. "Now, we also have celebrity man of the street opinions for every topic. But really, the main point is the topic. Yung mga topics na iniisip nyo palang, pinaguusapan na namen. Yung mga ayaw nyo pag usupa, kami talaga pag uusapan namen', she continued.

Indeed, it's a no-holds-barred discussion for an all new season 2 of "TikTalks".

Having obsered the 5 casts during the intimate media con, I can't help but notice the diverse personality the 5 casts have... Super diverse it created such great rapport that is very crucial in creating an successful TV show.

Alex Calleja, a Filipino comedian hailing from Bicol, once made it to the Top 20 of Laugh Factory's Funniest Person in the World. A former professor and IT programmer, he pursued a career in stand-up comedy in 2007. With a career spanning almost a decade, his wit has conquered television and various corners of the globe. It's that wit that he'll bring to season two of "TikTalks.

G3 San Diego, a Filipina writer who has worked in the TV and film industry, has been the mind behind top-rated TV shows such as "Bridges of Love" and "Magkaribal." A noted entertainment journalist and digital influencer, she brings a wealth of experience and creativity to "TikTalks."

Kakai Bautista, a Filipino actress, host, singer, and comedienne, has appeared in numerous television shows and movies. Kakai's penchant for engaging in witty repartee secured her a spot on the "TikTalks" team.

Pat-P Daza, a producer and radio anchor, has voiced her thoughts about the changing landscape of the television industry. She's a big believer in the importance of collaboration, and it's that cooperative spirit that she'll use to bring everyone at "TikTalks" together despite their differences.

And of course, leading the cast in no other than, the Queen of Philippine Journalism, Korina Sanchez, who calms the group ("Tiktalks"), when discussion becomes heated and haywire already. The supreme journalist obviously is being seen differently on this show. unlike her news persona: serious and stiff, it is a welcome embrace to see her smiling and laughing in front of the camera.
Korina Sanchez

Recently, on July 5, 2023, Sanchez returned to ABS-CBN to sign a new co-production deal for her show "Rated Korina." Her comeback was met with enthusiasm and support from celebrities and fans alike, solidifying her status as a premier A-list broadcaster.

Sanchez-Roxas created the show with co-producer Jojie Dingcong of Media Kweens, Inc. They designed it to be different, real, and unfiltered. From discussing why some Pinoys opt for fair skin and nose surgery to the cultural practice of eating dog meat, the show is not afraid to tackle topics usually avoided in mainstream media. The first season of “TikTalks” caught the attention of many, and the anticipation for the upcoming season is palpable. The show airs on TV5, OnePH, and Radyo 5 92.3 News FM.

2023 - How to Renew Drivers License in Less Than 30 (Valid For 10 Years)

V ery recently, I had to renew my drivers license which is going to expire on April 8, 2023. Admittedly, anything that involves Philippine government processing does not excite me. Who would be? There's so much inefficiencies, graft and red tape! Yup, that is our government. Simply great in wasting our time and precious money. LTO Robinson's Las Pinas Branch But that soon changed when I went to Robinson's Las Pinas LTO satellite branch to renew my drivers license last Wednesday, March 29, 2023. I arrived at exactly 12:00 noon and I was expecting LTO personnel to be on lunch. Darn! I was wrong! LOL There were staff ready to process my business that day. I was also surprised that a staff approached me to assist. At first, I thought he was going to offer quick and easy processing of my renewal but with a "charge" (red tape). Boy, I was wrong. He was decent and offered his assistance and provided the needed info for me to renew, complete with the rate and where to go

Moira Dela Torre for Maria Clara Sagria Virgin

T he media launch today we attended is extra special for me. It's quite special in a sense it brings back childhood memories of a favourite drink in my family,  Maria Clara Sangria.  Growing up, I was not allowed to try and drink it because of the alcohol content of the drink. But that's all in the past now. Today, we witnessed that   Distileria Limtuaco and Co. Inc. launches a non-alcoholic drink called, "Maria Clara Sangria Virgin". Moira dela Torre for Maria Clara Sangria Virgin It is the non-alcoholic version of the classic  Maria Clara Sangria we all know. Aside from containing zero percent alcohol, the newest sangria is fruity and flavourful we will surely fall in love with.  "Maria Clara Sangria Virgin" can be enjoyed chilled or served with ice. What is also beautiful with the latest variant of Maria Clara Virgin is that it has very minimal sugar content - for those watching their sugar intake.  Moira dela Torre for Maria Clara Sangria Virgin The lau
