MASTERS Poker Club continues to promote poker as a sport and a fun form of recreation in the Philippines as it mounts the third and most exciting run of its G’s Game that assembles a fabulous sampling of the best Pinoy poker players in a special competition set to happen on March 14 (Tuesday, 4:00 p.m.).
For this event, the club will feature such players as Filipino pool players Efren “Bata” Reyes and Django Bustamante; and disc jockey Patty Tiu competing against in each other in a celebrity invitational game that every aficionado of the sport could watch for free as it streams live on the official Facebook pages of Masters Poker and its media partner Daily Tribune.
Masters Poker also aims to support Filipino poker players who have the potential to compete and win in international competitions such as Edwin “Hid D Heat” Dela Cruz who recently dominated the U Series Of Poker: Poker2u Taiwan Series, besting 1,048 players in the series of games.
Edwin “Hit D Heat” Dela Cruz brought home the pot money worth NTD2,725,000.00, or roughly Php5,00,000.00. Dela Cruz, who has been playing poker professionally for the past two years attributes his victory to constant training, and the masterful mentoring of Dave Erquiaga who runs Action PH under Masters Poker Club.
