Back in 2019, that memorable photo of actress Dimples Romana, taken from a screenshot from her top-rating Kapamilya teleserye Kadenang Ginto, turned out to be one of the most popular memes of the year, with netizens showcasing their ingenious humor by superimposing her image EVERYWHERE!

From scenic tourist destinations around the world to equally iconic movie scenes, and even to the farthest reaches of outer space, Daniela had gone where no man had ever gone before! Her likeness even inspired a Funko Pop toy!

Dimples reprises her iconic character as she guests in the Net25 feel-good sitcom Good Will, where she’s guaranteed to create a wild uproar the minute she walks into the resort with her signature red bag in tow.

Will she hit it off with the rest of the Good Will gang, headed by David Chua, Devon Seron, Raymond Bagatsing, Smokey Manaloto, Kat Galang, Ryan Rems, James Caraan, and season two newcomers Samantha Lopez, Regine Angeles and Meg Imperial?

The acclaimed dramatic actress, who is celebrating her 26th anniversary in showbiz this year, let her hair down as she sheds her ‘heavy drama’ image for a rare shot at a comedy role.

“Ang saya-saya!” she exclaims, as she tries to recreate her Daniela Mondragon role, but with a comic twist. “It’s a breath of fresh air to be able to pull off something like this, and I actually feel honored working alongside some of our best comedians, like Kuya Smokey and Kuya Raymond, and of course, David and Devon. Grabe!!!”

David Chua, who plays Lloyd Patawad, takes his hat off to Dimples as she effortlessly breezed through her role.  

“Starstruck!” he remarks, admitting how he would feel awestruck in the middle of their taping sessions. “Just for reference, Dimples was already one of ABS-CBN’s top drama actresses when I started out in showbiz and joined the cast of My Girl in 2008. So, you can just imagine the respect and admiration I have for her. And seeing her acting out in a comedy setting is just so refreshing!”

Also expected to create a stir in this Sunday’s episode is hunky actor Enzo Pineda, who plays Louie.

The Good Will barkada pamper Louie to the max, mistakenly assuming that he is the travel critic/reviewer scheduled to visit their resort. But despite the faux pas, all’s well that ends well, as the real reviewer, unbeknownst to them, stealthily snuck into the resort, experienced its service and amenities, and ended up giving them the five-star rating that they expected.

Enzo is all praises for the wacky gang as he gets a rare chance to play light, out-of-the-box roles.

“The rapport among the Good Will barkada is something else!” he chimes. “Mas mahirap yata yung tongue-in-cheek type comedy ‘coz you still have to be deadpan to deliver the desired effect. And of course, I also enjoyed having some quality R&R since the lock-in is in one of Batangas’ prime destination resorts. It was a nice vacation break.”

Dimples’ and Enzo’s guest appearances come close on the heels of previous guestings which featured Sunshine Cruz and Isko Moreno. Also expected to guest in the coming weeks is a top comedian who also co-hosts a noontime show.
