February 14 & 15, Resorts Work Manila, Phils., Mr Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano celebrated Valentine's by staging a 2-day sold-out concert simply called "Gary V Reenergized". The concert was a solid 2-hour performance packed with all the big hits of Valenciano from trip down memory lane to his current recordings. It was nostalgic hearing very familiar songs from yesteryears like: Hang-on, Eto Na Naman, Growing Up, Each Passing Nights and dance hits such as Hataw Na & Shout For Joy.

It was a pure celebration of his great songs that touched our hearts all this years.
But more that the great hits and beautiful melodies that Valenciano shared to us, the world, it's the evangelism that is imbedded in his works as an artists that makes him very effective. To date, the act that will follow the artistic footsteps of Gary V has not emerged and has not been born yet. No local artist in our country comes close to how well-rounded & complete as an artist Valenciano is: A singer. Dancer, Composer. Musician, An Icon! Truly, no artists comes close to this arena.

Valenciano shared the stage on both nights with fellow artists: Kiana V & Yeng Constantino. Both artists were a revelation on how well they can level up their game & equally delivery the energy & artistry needed by "Gary V ReEnergized" show.
The Highlight of the Concert
There are 2 spots that left a permanent mark from last night's performance. Up until now, I still have goosebumps trying to recall the said performances.
First, would be the duet of Gary V & Kiana V of the classic, Sana'y Maulit Muli. The new arrangement of Mon Faustino gave the composition of Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano a new spice and taste. It sounded like it's not a classic & old song from the 80's. The version Gary & Kiana made it a new song with R&B hype.

The highlight of the show, in my opinion, is the solo and surreal spot when Gary V stayed behind the keyboard and performed "Take Me Out of the Dark". Everybody froze upon hearing the Gospel and felt the presence and healing of the Lord. Without a doubt, it left everyone blessed & teary eyed.
The Verdict
Aside from the obvious that it was a 2 day SOLD-OUT event, "Gary V ReEnergized stressed the fact tat at 58 years old, Valenciano is still the reigning the sole Mr PureEnergy. This department is still occupied by the OG when it comes to sing, dance and complete performance.
It is only appropriate that we say, thank you, Gary V, for sharing the world your music & talent. Truly we left Resorts World Theatre last night feeling blessed & happy.
To another 58 years of ReEnergized career, Gary V! Congratulations!
